Happy National Poetry Day Juliet! Another wonderful poem from you 🙂

The quilt is beautiful.... it reminds me of a quilt that one of my grandsons had. He was born prematurely and all the babies in the unit were given a quilt made from preloved baby clothes. He was so comforted by it.... I think he still has it somewhere..... he’ll be 8 in February 😊

Thank you for writing and wondering. Just to elaborate a bit on your metaphor . . . . I am not sure a patchwork quilt should ever be finished. What matters most is the patching and the working. It is a special quilting circle you are making.

warmer and stronger

she sews and she sews"

A seamstress, yes, but so much more a sower.
