Face pales

Palms sweat

Be composed

Don’t forget

Ever watchful

Always aware

Take the risk

Never dare

Make notes

Plan escape

Have back up

Just in case

Be polite

Divert attention

On guard

Never mention

Wear garlic

Hide stake

Ever alert

Wide awake

Breathe deep

Slow expire

Is my doctor

A vampire?

I’m not sure where I found an example of two-word line poems but they do exist and are fun to create. Naturally I was in a state of constant alert for the possibility of a vampire colony amongst the staff on the haematology ward.
