My poetry collection

I’ve written these poems over the two years as my way of processing the impact of having Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) which is a rare blood cancer. There’s a real mix of styles as I’m still learning and finding my poet’s pen! So be patient - if the first few don’t appeal, others later on might. Some are funny, some are serious, some are reflective, some are just sad. You have been warned!

The purpose is to raise awareness of Blood Cancer Awareness Month which happens every September. I publish one poem per day with donations going to Flynne’s Barn that offers creative, outdoor residential experiences for young people who have undergone cancer treatment.
